Acrylic on canvas
The artist’s lament is discovering that he has left an idle paintbrush deprived of its lifeblood—water—and instead, happening upon a clogged, de-feathered corpse which resembles a frozen butterfly. “Why, oh why did I neglect you, my dearest companion!” Cries the soul of the craftsman, still hopeful it is salvageable, and relieved when it is thawed under a steady stream of warm water. Take care of the things you love. -K.K.Atlas
