Hello dear readers of this blog, today’s painting is about a humble fisherman searching for sustenance on a beautiful afternoon. The setting is Santorini, Greece. It’s hard to see from the image below, but in the distance there is a tiny replica of the man, as well as the house on the right. My reason for this was that I wanted to capture the essence of fractals, those never-ending patterns that are talked about in mathematics. It’s also like another dimension, where the exact same man and building are present, but the outcomes of certain actions (eg trying to catch a fish) might be different. Please enjoy:) – K.K.Atlas
