I have always loved the Mr. Men series. Even as a small child, I remember reading them, and being amazed and inspired by Roger Hargreaves’ lovely artwork and writing style. The other day, I was having a discussion with my sister about the Mr. Men series, and thought it would be fun to write a book about and illustrate Mr. Disappointing. I would also like to thank J.M. Weselby for her post on The Best Mr. Men Book Reviews You’ll Ever Read, because I think that post was also a source of inspiration and motivation to create Mr. Disappointing. So without further ado, I present you his story. The illustrations were created using Microsoft Paint, and I had a lot of fun doing it. I also think that the direction of the story went more along with Little Miss Disaster, but I’ll stick with this title for now. I hope you all enjoy it.
